Grindhouse review

Posted : 13 years, 6 months ago on 28 October 2010 09:08 (A review of Grindhouse)

A pair of excellent films that really compliment each other well. They had moments of extreme tension, and this is the sort of film I love. I haven't seen a Tarantino film or a Rodriguez film that I don't like yet, and these two didn't disappoint.

Hitman review

Posted : 13 years, 7 months ago on 9 October 2010 11:40 (A review of Hitman)

I have to say I was genuinely surprised at how good this movie was. The only other film I had seen Timothy Olyphant in was Die Hard 4, and he wasn't great in that action-wise, so I had low hopes for him in this film, but boy oh boy did he deliver, and it even has a great story line, and you don't normally get that coming from a video game to a movie. I would definitely recommend this.

The Midnight Meat Train review

Posted : 13 years, 8 months ago on 6 September 2010 02:47 (A review of The Midnight Meat Train)

Brilliantly made, amazingly realistic special effects, and you keep on wonder the same thing... Why doesn't the killer ever talk, and when you find out, you'll be so engulfed, you won't be able to take your eyes off the screen!

Terminator Salvation review

Posted : 13 years, 8 months ago on 4 September 2010 10:38 (A review of Terminator Salvation)

I know a lot of people didn't like this movie, simply because they had seen the original Terminator films and this probably didn't compare. Fortunately for me, I haven't seen any Terminator films before this one, so I found it extremely enjoyable. I effects were super-realistic, and the actors were top class, as one would expect from Christian Bale, a high-performace actor, who has not disappointed me in one role yet. A steady story line and great visuals makes this worth seeing.

A brilliant story, with so many twists and turns, Nolan does a great job, as always, this is more than just a crime story, this is a masterpiece.

Valentine's Day review

Posted : 13 years, 8 months ago on 31 August 2010 10:17 (A review of Valentine's Day)

One of the worst films I've every seen! I was expecting something that would rival Love Actually but instead I found it dragging, endlessly trying to create laughs that had nothing to do with the sketchy storyline that was all over the place! It says it has all these great actors in it, but Bradley Cooper is only partially involved (No doubt busy making the A-Team, awesome movie) and I actually found Ashton Justcher the main character. Not worth watching, even on Valentine's Day.

Light hearted, fun, jokes for children and the adults, a great and hilarious film!
